I met Geoff when he was sixteen.

At the time, I had already been involved in quantum biofeedback for several years and was fully immersed in the work. I was in private practice. Traveling. Teaching. Sharing the technology. Helping practitioners grow. And truly fascinated by what this work could mean for people.

Back then there was an event called “Affair of the Heart.” It was the event’s debut year, so hardly anyone showed up. It ended up being mostly practitioners pitching practitioners. But that’s where I met a lifelong friend: Dr. Debbie Martin-Belleville. That friendship would end up changing everything. Debbie (“Dr. Mom”) still jokes that it eventually became an actual affair of the heart, because that’s where our story began.

Not long after, she referred her sixteen-year-old son, Geoff, to me for sessions. He had been struggling for a while and nothing seemed to be helping.

From the very first session, something was different.

I had never met anyone who responded to the technology the way he did. He would lie on the table with his eyes closed while I worked quietly behind the computer, and somehow he would start telling me exactly what I was doing. “You’re working on my spine… L5.” “I can feel something happening in my kidneys.”

And he would be right. Every. Single. Time.

I remember sitting there thinking, “Okay… don’t freak him out.” I had worked with countless practitioners and clients by then. I knew what was normal, and this was not normal. He was so deeply connected to the technology. So aware. So intuitive with it, in a way I had never witnessed before.

Week after week he came in for sessions. Then one day, after he turned eighteen, I asked him what he wanted to do with his life. College? Work? What was the plan? He basically said, “I honestly don’t know.”

That was the moment I finally told him what I had quietly been thinking for years: “I think you would make an incredible practitioner. In fact, I think you could become the best.”

He asked how much the technology cost. The next day he called me and said, “I have the money. Now what?”

And that was the beginning of something neither of us could have imagined. Our mission was taking shape.

“I have the money. Now what?”

Fast forward twenty years, and here we are. Together. Still deeply devoted to this work. Still fascinated by the human body. Still witnessing extraordinary things.

And now we’ve launched Quantum Biofeedback University to train and raise up a new generation of practitioners.

Sometimes I sit back and think: wow. The very technology that brought us together all those years ago is now something we get to build together, teach together, and share with the world together.

Life is wild. God is more than good. And sometimes the woven threads of life only make sense when you look backwards.
